Welcome aboard! We are happy to have you as a passenger and be able to serve you. We’ll see that you reach your destination if it be the doctors office, the grocery store, or anywhere across town. No matter what your age or special need, we can accomodate you! Passenger safety is one of our primary concerns. In order for us to better serve you and provide safety for all passengers we have established the following guidlines:

If you will be at a different location for pickup let the office know ahead of time so the driver will be informed.

Because a large number of people are transported each day, passengers should try to take care of all their business on the same day. Under normal circumstances, passengers should make reservations only twice weekly. This will allow us to serve more people. (This does not apply to priority trips such as medical appointments, nutrition and others.)

Priority trips include medical or nutrition appointments, and other scheduled appointments. (Food stamps, Dept. of Human Services, Social Security, etc.)

• When boarding, please board to the rear of the vehicle.
• Seatbelts must be worn at all times while the vehicle is in motion.
• Passengers must remain seated with seatbelts fastened until the vehicle has come to a complete stop.
• For your safety please allow the driver or the escort to assist you on and off the vehicle.
• No eating, drinking, smoking, spitting, or chewing is allowed on the vehicle.

The Access to Jobs Program was established to provide transportation too and from work for eligible participants to find and maintain employment.

The Access to Job program will achieve this goal by providing a ride to those who lack transportaion.

Who is eligible: Persons who have completed the Families First Program or fall within the low-income guidelines.

How it works: Eligible persons will contact his or her case manager after obtaining employment. The case manager will then send a referral to the local Southeast Human Resource Agency’s Transportation office. Transportation arrangements will then be made available to the client.

What makes this possible: The Access to Jobs Program is funded through the Tennessee Dept. of Transportation, Dept. of Human Services, and the Dept. of Labor. The Southeast Human Resource Agency is the contractor for this program.

Reservations for local transportation must be made at least 24 hours in advance of a scheduled trip.

Reservations for non-local trips must be made at least 72 hours in advance of a scheduled trip. We are transporting many people to different destinations so be prepared to stay all day. The bus leaves in the early morning and returns in the late afternoon.

When making your reservations, we must know each place
you are going so we can schedule routes and get you to your
destinations on time.

When making your reservations, please do so for all people who will be going so there will be seats available for all passengers.

Reservations must be cancelled as far in advance as
possible, but at least two hours before the scheduled pick up time. If the reservation is not canceled, except under extenuating circumstances, the passengers may not be allowed to ride for an indefinite period of time.

Plan to be ready at least 30 minutes prior to your pickup time in case the driver is running ahead of schedule. Therefore, the driver will not have to wait when they arrive to pick you up.

Drivers are not allowed to wait for passengers for longer than 5 minutes. If the drivers have to wait for passengers this puts the system behind schedule making other passengers late for appointments.
